AFJ Limited was established in 2006 with just one minibus. We started by providing home to school transport and private hire services for days out. Our initial focus was on transporting special needs children, but we soon realized that we could provide a broader range of services to our clients.
As we continued to grow, we expanded our services to include non-emergency transport services. We understood that if we wanted to be the best, we needed to have an effective department that would take care of our vehicles and a training department that would evolve with our services to provide the best training for our staff.
We invested heavily in both of these departments and brought them in-house. This has allowed us to understand the challenges of our industry and adapt quickly and efficiently. It has also allowed us to be more competitive in our pricing for our customers.
Today, we are one of the biggest privately owned transport companies in Birmingham. We have recently opened our second depot in Manchester following the same successful model. Our services are primarily designed to cater to special needs people, which is why we have a robust compliance procedure in place.
